All CRP furniture is made of HDPE (high density polyethylene), a dense material formulated from recycled milk jugs and cartons. Because of its density, it is heavier than wood and it has excellent UV protection. These items are unlike other plastic furniture, they will never oxidize and become brittle over time. The colors are unaffected by the elements so the colors do not fade. Nothing will stick to or stain it either, including red wine!
